We have met so many awesome people while going through this experience. It is funny how you go from not knowing many people in your same situation, to feeling alone, to realizing that you are part of a big community of people going through the exact same thing as you.
Today was no different. About a week ago, I got an email from a guy named Evan. He said he had heard about Caleb and had actually been a patient at PCH as well a few years back. In his email, he told a story about a friend bringing him an Ipod touch and that it was the best gift he had received. He said it helped on so many levels while he was in.
Since then, he told me that he is starting a non-profit where he wants to give back to kids going through the same things that he did. Part of that is he wants to give kids an ipod touch if they do not have one since it helped him so much. He asked if Caleb had one and I told him he didn't but that he did have a nano. He said he really wanted to come and meet Caleb and give him a touch.
So, today, Evan made a trip to PCH and gave Caleb and Ipod touch! What a blessing! Not the gift, but meeting Evan and hearing his heart for children going through chemo and fighting cancer. He is a follower of Jesus and so he even prayed with Caleb before he left. It was awesome! The gift was secondary to the person and story. Here is a picture of Caleb and Evan together!

So, go to his page and like it and tell all of your friends to like it as well! He is doing some cool things. Maybe you could even consider donating to his business. We have been blessed by it and I know so many more people will be blessed as well.
Thanks Evan for what you are doing! We really appreciate it!
Caleb is now getting all of his pre-meds before they start his chemo. Our meeting with Dr. Rosen went really well. She is great! I will post more about he next part of our journey later today. I have a little bit of time...we will be here for close to 6 hours today!
I will keep you posted!
Grace and Peace
That's so cool!
