Today, Chantelle dropped by for a bit and walked Caleb through what it would be like to change the outer portion of his port. This will take place later this evening after his chemo is finished. Caleb actually performed the entire thing on the little boy doll. He did quite well!

For a second I thought the second picture was cully laying on the bed...I was like "well that's unusual". Ha! We will be praying for no side effects and a super smooth port change tonight:)
ReplyDeleteStill praying (and crying) for you all daily. I know that God will give you all the strength you need to get through this. You two are amazing parents and I can see that both your boys will grow up to be amazing men. I wish I could be there to help paint and clean. I hope you will post if there is a theme for Caleb's new room- we would love to send him a get well soon/ welcome home something! Sending much love and prayers for you!
