A New Day- April 10th, 2012

Sorry that it took me a bit to get out our "New Day" post. As I said last night, I spent some time at Caleb's class today talking and answering questions that they had. Then, we had a live skype session with Caleb and he got to see and talk with all of his school friends! What an awesome time it was! They asked Caleb some questions and we had some fun to say the least!

Last night was good night...the new norm. A lot of urinating and some sleep!

This morning has been a good morning! After talking with Caleb's class, I went and got Cully and Aunt Di and then we headed up to the hospital. Once we got here, we went to the play room, made a craft, played some X-Box (Star Wars Legos) and then headed out to the patio. This has become our new favorite place! It is out of the room and outside! It is an awesome patio...so nice and big!

Today is a chill day! Not much happening! Tomorrow is a big day. He will get totally scanned again and they will then be able to map out a plan for the next couple of months for his treatments.

I will post later today when we find out exactly what time his scans and tests are tomorrow so everyone will know.

Thanks for all of your prayers! God is faithful!

Grace and Peace!

  1. What a wonderful example of still giving to others when you are in the midst of a storm. Thank you, Pastor Jeremy, for spending time talking to the kids this morning and helping them understand a little bit about Caleb's new normal right now. I was very touched by you taking the time to share with them. You explained things SO well and right at their level. Kyla told me on the way home how happy she was to see Caleb on the computer and how "even though he sounded kind of tired, he was still funny!". God bless you guys as you continue on this journey trusting Him.
