Hey, just wanted to let all of you know where are still waiting for him to get out of surgery. He has had the bone marrow extracted, his port put in and is now in PET scan. We are surrounded by many people who are praying for us and love us.
We were told this morning that the cancer is a b-cell lymphoma cancer, which if you were going to pick a cancer, you would want to pick this one. Everyone is extremely optimistic and are saying good things about recovery.
Thanks to all who are praying! Hopefully tonight we will have all of the information and start to map out how we are going to treat and beat this.
Grace and Peace!
Hi Jeremy and Tera, my name is Rebecca and I am a longtime friend of Audrey Bird. (she gave me a beutiful Morgan horse when I was a little girl) and I'm now a married mom of three kids and Audrey was one of our prayer warriors for our daughter Emma Kait who JUST finished her year of treatment for stage 3 Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. Emma is 11 years old and we are actually currently on a celebration family motorhome trip to mark the end of her journey through cancer. I know how overwhelming, exhausting a scary this early time of diagnosis can be. I am holding your family in prayer during this time and for the days to come. Emma just had her follow up pet scan two weeks ago after a year of chemo, and she is cancer free! We are praising Godfor his protection and healing of our daughter and are praying the same for Caleb. I would love to answer any questions you might have, or join you as a fellow parent of a cancer warrior child. These kids are amazing! Our blog is emmakait.com and my email is rebecca3kids@hotmail.com. Peace and love to you !
